Dr. Stephanie Sullivan, Guidance Counselor

Dr. Stephanie Sullivan 

 

As school counselor, my mission is to develop a comprehensive school counseling program to enhance student learning and academic, social, emotional, and college career-readiness skills so that students will becomeproductive and confident citizens.

Dr. Stephanie Scott-Sullivan is a native of Woodville, MS, where she currently resides. As an educator, Dr. Sullivan strongly believes   in a quality education for all students and that a good education helps determine ones future. Stephanie's experiences and   education have provided her an opportunity to serve and work with students, parents, teachers, administrators and other stakeholders throughout the state of Mississippi and Louisiana. After teaching special education for 12 years, Stephanie became vocational counsel at MLK Career and Technology Complex for 1 1/2 years and later transferred to Williams Winans Middle School where she currently serves as guidance counselor.  Stephanie has been with the Wilkinson County School District since 2003 and has worked at all 5 schools. She has also served as adjunct instructor at Morningside College.  As a student, Dr. Sullivan attended Alcorn State University and graduated obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Psychology, and a Master's Degree in         Guidance Counseling, a Specialist Degree and a Doctorate Degree both in teacher leadership with emphasis in educational leadership fromWalden University. 

The passion that Stephanie has for helping students and families know the value of education is her gift and God-given     purpose that she loves sharing with others.
